Mickey Hanning, VP Emeritus

Mickey is a native New Orleanian and graduate of LSU. He's a co-founder of Nola Bulls, creators of the popular Running of the Bulls in New Orleans, and a Wine Salesman for Wines Unlimited. Mickey picked up cycling a few years ago which led him to his philanthropic lifestyle, raising money for various causes. He's married to Beth Hanning, for whom Beth's Friends Forever is named. Mickey is looking forward to honoring his wife's battle with cancer and helping others with theirs.

Christopher Johnson, Secretary

Christopher is a native New Orleanian and graduate of the University of Michigan. He started cycling in his senior year in Ann Arbor to improve his health and lifestyle, and has channeled that passion into supporting charities through fitness events. Christopher is a Marine Engineer / Naval Architect for a local maritime services company, and uses his engineering and special project management skills to support Beth’s Friends Forever.

Lauren Levert

Having been interested in health care her entire life, Lauren jumped at the opportunity to serve her community through Beth’s Friends Forever. From volunteering at hospitals to working for home health and physical therapy companies, Lauren has remained devoted to improving the health and lives of others. She received her first bachelor’s degree from LSU in Baton Rouge, and her Nursing Degree from LSU Health New Orleans School of Nursing.

Ronald Buras, President Emeritus

Ron is a native New Orleanian, who returned to the city after spending much of his professional career in the States of Ohio, Michigan, Washington and New Mexico. Ronald has served as General Manager and Corporate Quality Officer for several large corporations. Ronald has spent many years fundraising for various charities across the country. He is committed to his home city of New Orleans and is excited to focus his philanthropic activities on Beth's Friends Forever.
